Anybody have any info on FC Twin Turbo Setup?

I recently purchased a jdm S5 motor with a set of
twin turbos. I think they are made by KKK? I have not recieved it yet, just have been emailed pics,
so I cant get model #s yet.

I have a 88TII with a Cosmo RE and T78. Just wondering how it would work on that motor?

Anyone else have any info on it?

Who made it?

What kind of hp and boost numbers?

No FC came that way, either you have a 13b-RE/Rew or its a custom setup.

ahh, i didnt see that.

The twin like t25 based turbos, you could have something between 350 and 500hp depending on which ones they are.

Contact Japan2LA. He had this same set up for sale a while back, and someone here bought it.

I forget who made the kit, but it was very pricey!!!!

They are twin 16G's... probably made by Greddy or HKS? Greddy only uses mitsu turbos.

twin 16G's (depending on which model 16G) are typically good for 500-600 to the wheels on a piston engine. It's somewhat common on the 3000GT.

I think Racing Beat set a land speed record on an FC with a 16G. I was thinking, "16G, what kind of rotary is that?" It all makes sense now.

That is the OLD SKOOL! HKS turbo kit. It was very similar to the kit they made for the FB. Good find! I know more about the FB kit, but it was the same basic kit moved to the FC.

I thought KKK turbos were used mostly by Porsche or something, somewhat like how Holset turbos are used on Cummins diesels.

I think it's Greddy who made that kit in a partnership with amemiya.

What do you mean land speed record?

Aren't the turbos like mad dirty, or are they covered with something other than dirt. Cool how you have a sort-of 13B-REW that you bought already...
