any s5 models come with no rear wiper?

Yes there is a difference. The GTUs is generally considered the rarest "model" rx-7 ever produced and the most desirable N/A 7 among enthusiests. The GTU in 89/90 was the base model.... not much to get excited over.
Initially I was glad that my '91 base model didn't have the rear wiper since I think it looks clunky, but now, three winters into ownership, I can see how it would be useful.
That large rear glass is a snow magnet- especially at low speed- and I've had rear visibility disappear in minutes.
Last year I started looking for a hatch with a wiper in the junkyard, figuring I'd swap it in for the winter months and pull it in the summer.
No luck yet but the search continues.

HUGE difference.
GTU-was the base model s5- single pot brakes(non vented rotors), mani windows, no fogs, no lsd.
GTUs was essentially the best n/a FC. Originally it was supposed to come with a n/a 20b (but emissions in the US ruined it).
the GTUs-Lightest S5 FC, manual windows, Hardtop, no rear wiper on hatch, turbo brakes, black interior, turbo seats, leather steering wheel, no cruise control, turbo 2 rims, had upgraded power steering rack,
and the best part... 4:30 gear limited slip, and higher gear tranny as well.
