Couldnt really tell you on the power increase, it was done during a big change from stock to not lol. No cooling issues either. The way i look at it, everything is right next to each other so the air doesnt really get a chance to slow down or change directions or anything. Plus, it is just like a factory setup. Although i also cut a big hole in the bumper which could be helping to lol.

Yeah it pretty much fits right in there between the radiator and oil cooler. I left the oil cooler in the factory spot and the intercooler sits up against it then the radiator sits against the intercooler. I did alot of cutting to fit the endtanks in there. The rest of the intercooler would fit but the endtanks would not so i had to cut to allow them to poke out form both sides. I mainly just cut fromt he top of the cores upport straight down both sides, if that makes any since.

That npr is huge. It is only about 4 or 5 inches shorter than the radiator and you can see how wide it is.

yes the radiator fits snuggly against it , im buying a knew stock radiator, i also have a electric fan which i hate because it sucks up so much currant im going to have to get a fd alternator,but i love this fmic it fits perfectly

Did you have to relocate the battery to fit the intercooler or did you just do it for other reasons?

well i had two batteries any way for my stereo so i lucked out so i will use the one in my rear tray witch is a small dry cell ill find a better one and a 3rd gen alt my other plans is to premix my oil if anyone knows the procedure for that please run me through it and what i need for premix but back to the npr i did not get the pipe back today from powder coating may be tommorow ill post pics

oh ok so you dont have to move the battery if you dont want to? Also i saw this really trick write-up on keeping you're stock oil injection system intact but instead of getting the oil from you oil pan it gets it from an external resevior filled with two-stroke oil. thats one idea of you omp still works.

edit* also im going to take a trip to the junkyards this weekend to see if i can find any of these intercoolers. What years models etc.. are these intercoolers found on?

They way i have it you will have to relocate the battery. Unless you have a ultra tiny battery and some small intercooler pipes with some funky bends. But, i would recomend relocating it.

from this pic it seems like there is still room for the battery. I have no ac/ps pumps so it seems like there should be room. Then again it is your car and pictures can be deceiving.

so you mounted it so the outlets are on the bottom. That way you still have the battery in the front. Any cutting or welding of the frame to get it to fit this way. It looks like you basically have it mounted where the a/c condensor is correct?

no cutting on the battery side but on the pasenger side a little was notched were the radiator bolts on.

i like it. And i got a good deal on it. I bought an S5 bumper so i might switch to something a little bigger just for the looks purpose but ive never had problems with the NPR. My mechanic had a Large NPR on his 9 sec rx3

well, i got the holes cut out completely and just need a little touching up aroudn the edges. three of the couplers came in along with the piping so hopefully pretty soon it will be complete.

Well truth is its been so long since my battery has been there that i cant say for sure. Although the abs unit is there now so maybe it will fit?

Now that i see jm85rx7s setup i wish i would have done mine like that. That way the intercooler pipes dont get in the way of the hood. Mine rub against the hood as it is. Also having the intercooler down below would give you more turbo room incase you get a tall manifold. I mean letting the turbo outlet face down.
