Any one heard of surging with BNR stageII?
Has anyone heard of the BNR stage II for the S4 surging with the Blitz BOV that looks like this....http://www.teamfc3s.org/store/images/DSC03553.JPG Also how much shorter would i have to make this to work with a FMIC kit for our cars? I was told by brian at BNR that this BOV would make the boost surge i believe? I have never heard anyone say that before though so i'm curious as if anyone else has experienced this i haven't seen any threads regarding this.

I R SAD PANDA W/O BAW
Blitz BOVs have a reputation to leak and/or malfunction. Compressor surge is caused by boost travelling backwards after the throttleplates have closed so it's not so much a turbo issue but rather a BOV issue.

money my friend money. Well whats a decent BOV thats not insanely expensive that doesnt sound ricer. i know were not supposed to base BOV's off sound but god i hate the high pitched sounds, i just want a deep woosh nothing annoying. The BOV came with my FMIC i bought its a used HKS fmic, same with the BOV.

I've never witnessed it on anything I own, but I imagine you could watch your boost needle vibrate back and forth during the surging.
Another definition:
When the turbos pump more air in the motor than the motor can physically flow through, then the air reverses back to the compressor. Kind of like closing the throttle bodies.
