this is a pic of the air filter i got today with my addaptor plate,,and it is made out of all metal,,,that is weird as hell i have never seena filter like this,,,is anyone using one currently??,,will it filter out enough stuff to keep my engine safe?

 

The concept is kinda like the Blitz stainlesssteel open pod!! Only thing is that the Blitz one is tampered towards to front.

well is it safe to use then,,it just seems like it would let dust through

if nothing else i was thinking of getting one of those foam caps that goes over them for daily use

 

I can't see too closely but how would the ait get through the metal? I would think if there are small holes they would still be too large and would let in debris. Just my thoughts.
