any non speed sensing steering racks ?

Is there such a thing as a non speed sensing power steering rack ?

Am doing a FD engine swap & the steering rack has a hard line fitting right where the crack pully needs to be.

Have seen pics of FC's with a smaller diameter power steering rack with no hard lines going to each end of the rack. This rack may solve the problem.

What model would use this simpler PS rack ?

Any advice is welcome, or links to info.

Thanks

non speed sensing would be the cheaper rack available on the non turbo s5, the special 'GTUs, the one with the little s after the name gtu) excluded.

I'm not 100% sure on the racks and how many ports they have etc, but the pumps on the non speed sensing steering equipped cars had only 2 lines, the speed sensing ones had 3 lines.
