I got a 90 GTU with a Turbo II drivetrain. Just wondering if anybody else is familiar with this setup and what there experiences have been as far as performance and tuning?

The only car that came stock with the TII drivetrain is the TII.

The GTUs, S4 GXL...and maybe something else? had LSD....but not a TII drivetrain.

Your GTU doesn't have one either, unless you've put it in yourself.

My GTU has TII driveshaft, flywheel, clutch, starter, tranny, and rear axles.

Bought the car from a buddy like that...although I wish I performed the install myself.

Im planning on staying N/A but would like to compete and keep up with the turbo crowd...turbo motor maintenance and prices for quality upgrades are just so damn expensive though.

How does the TII drivetrain components help you keep up with the turbo crowd?

Haha, I wasnt saying that I would , due to the obvious...lack of boost.

Just saying it would be challenging to try.
