Any issues with mounting oil cooler

I didn't realize it until I looked at my haynes manual but I am mounting my FC oil cooler on upside down compared to how my FC came. Similar to this picture. I ahve to mount it this way due to the way that I mounted my radiator. Will I have any flow issues with mounting the my oil cooler this way and using the top port(side) as the inlet and the bottom port as the outlet? I don't see any issues with this other than the thermostat possibly causing one.

It is Ls1 swapped. I am plumbing an accusump and want to add my oil cooler at the same time. I think it will work fine plumbing the oil cooler just like Mazda did.

Does anyone make an undertray for the FC? I have never seen an aftermarket one before. I do have a stock plastic one but it is a little beat up.
