I think you should make a wise investment in your future and go back to highschool, learn how to write, and then come back.

Holy crap i'd buy em. Something in the range of $500 bucks is a little pricey, and probably not a wise investment, but if i wanted to make a good investment i would've bought RRSP's instead of an FC.

I dunno if anyone's asked this yet, but how much more juice would these lights need compared to the stock lights?

They have a very high starting voltage (potentialy hazarous), but the actual power consumption (and hence current) is much lower than incandescent bulbs.

We checked out the headlight and projector clearances and it turns out the projectors we want to use are still too big. There really is little to no space to work with. We're going to try the absolute smallest HID projectors available. They are pretty hard to come by, which would make this modification pretty expensive.

I'm going to try to do this mod for own car because I know the difference it can make. I'm no longer pushing it as a mod I'll be selling due to the cost, however.

see my headlight link in my signature.
the low beam projectors i used can be fitted with a real HID system. right now i just have high output halogen. good enough.
i know you can get HID retrofits that put an HID bulb into a replica light housing. this is usually crap since there is no lens system to properly cut off the light. when you are dealing with high intensity source, a sharp cutoff is needed like that found in a projector.

There are no projectors that work better than from an s2000... With the help of a friend who has done it before I was able to do it on the tc using 5500k just so that we get that white bright light. WTF doesnt spend $500 on their car to make a noticeable improvement? I understand if you dont have the money, but increasing the visibility and making the car stand out is well worth it.

Anyways here are some pics of the s2000 on the tc

Those were the pics from the guy who helped me out... my girl crashed the car and havent been able to take pics of it... When I did the convertion on the 7 I used 300zx and audi a4 lights... None gave a better lighting than the s2000....

I would love to get better lighting. If someone were to modify a 6054 lens with HID, I'd buy it in a heart beat.
I agree, the S2000 lighting is amazing. I drool at those HID systems when I'm next to them.

I would do it, but based on the responce that this guy got, its definately not worth it. What I could do, is just make the headlight assembly without selling the HID, which would drop the cost considerably, but you would still have to buy a set of HID's.

What do you do about the amplifier and stuff from the S2k? Do you go to the yard and strip all that out?
