No this is different. It's not just an HID kit; I'll be using OEM projectors from expensive luxury or sports cars for this lighting upgrade. This upgrade is comparable to the $900+ HID option offered on cars like the BMW 3-series.

I'll give you a word of advice, as a fellow FC owner. As cool of an idea as this is, it's not going to sell. 95% of the people on here saying that they want one, or they will pay one, are either too young to shell out $500, or too poor to do so. Your typical FC owner doesn't have the kind of dough, or the honest desire to spend $500 on headlights. You might sell 3 or 4, but I wouldn't expect anything past that.

Exactly, it's a mod that is not feasible to the majority of FC owners. It's hard to justify $500 for headlights when you can buy housings and Silverstar bulbs for $80 and get just as much light output. I have Euro H4 housings from Corksport with PIAA bulbs mounted in them. I will match my high and low beams against any other car on the road, they are brighter than hell.

Mark my words, see how many of the people saying they want the kit actually pony up the dough when the time comes.

I think you people are insane for spending that much on lights for ur fc. unless ur car is freaking imaculate this mod is rather pointless. How much better are these HID's goin' to be compared to the silverstar HID lookalikes that are drop-in replacements for the stockers.

HIDs are 300% brighter than a normal halogen bulb; the difference between the two is unmistakable at night. Also, the parts are designed to last about 10 years, so you will probably never have to replace the bulbs for as long as you own the car.

I ordered the parts...they should arrive sometime next week. Probably next weekend we'll be done.
