Lots of good mufflers for rx7...depends on your price range. You can get some inexpensive magnaflows that will last and sound ok at idle...if you get on them they sound a little weed whacker-ish
my criteria are anything that is all stainless, and prefer no packing material.
Racing Beat can be found for good prices used, I ran Borla on my car when it was NA for 10 years, sounded good, mellow at idle and woke up later on.

I have Racing Beat mufflers on both of mine. Little pricey but you can buy just the mufflers. They fit well with no aggravation installing too. And they are stainless. I have had one set on my convertible for 5 years and they look just as good as ones I installed on my coupe last year. Sounds good too!
best i've found are mufflers and exhaust systems by Racing Beat. www.racingbeat.com
I just put a set of these on. $200.00 delivered. Nice and quiet like the stockers. probably not too good for ultimate performace, but what they hey, its a DD!
