Any fitment issues S4 Koyo on S5?
Has anybody had experiences installing a series 4 Koyo on an series 5 FC? I can get my hands on an S4 at a good price, and the S5's are on back order until the end of July. I have the side straps from my stock rad, and I am planning on installing an electric fan with the new Koyo. Besides the stock shroud, which will be taken care of by the electric fan, will there be any other issues installing the series 4 Koyo into my series 5? Will the side straps from my series 5 fit properly?
thanks

Fit like a charm, that is if you are using the S4 radiator mounts with a S4 radiator or S5 radiator mount with a S5 radiator.
S4 radiator mounts can be installed to a S5 radiator and vice versa, however some modifications will need to be performed to the radiator mounts (IE Enlarge the holes upward\downward).

i ordered the S4 for my S5. i have it sitting in my room right now. i took my old radiator out which appeared to be an S4 (it didnt have the long neck) and i believe it was missing two bolts. i had to remove 4 and it was stapped down well, so i haven't worried. i figure if it doesn't fit perfect, i'll find a way. i hate the much unneeded long radiator neck. i like it right on top of the radiator. if you want pics of the radiator, let me know, its no problem.

I like the S4 "no filler neck" design better I think. The S5 design just looks silly if there is no stock fan shroud there. It looks like it jets out into space.

I have the one with the neck (S5 koyo radiator), for starters upon shipment, the radiator cap mount arrived all bent up (due to the fact that it sticks out of the radiator).
I returned the radiator, and they sent me another one right away, just to find that the second one was bent too at the same location. This one wasn't as bad as the first one, so I kept it.
Not even a year afterwards, the small overflow tube at the radiator cap mount, came right off
So in short, a S4 would be the better one, IMHO!
Sorry about the confussion.
