Any difference between JDM and reg. T2 engines?

Hey is there any difference in hp ratings between a JDM T2 engine and our US original engines? I have a 10AE w/S4 JDM engine and turbo...curious

jdm cars had less restrictive exhausts...no precat, and supposedly slightly different ecu tuning. So they all made an extra 10-15hp. The hardware itself is near identical; the blocks themselves are identical to the US setup. The manifolds are slightly different with some vacuum ports being changed or deleted, and a couple of emissions/control valves being deleted on the jdm. The jdm harness is also totally different and incompatible with US cars.

Rx7 Jack! your smarter than this arent you? sorry to flame? but you had a rx7 way before i did.. it would be a PITA using a jdm engine to pass smog here in ca even if you switched the wire harness and ecu and all emission controls
