Any cons with lowering springs?

I scored some new Greddy lowered springs (coilovers?) and was thinking of putting them on. I don't want to go to low and I think they are like a 3/4 - 1 inch drop. I'm putting on 225/55/16 and don't want any rub or negative effects. I will only put them on if they will have any benefit other than looks. So what are the pros and cons.

Cons, you will scrape alot of stuff... It gets kind of annoying after a while.

.75 to 1 inch, not really much to worry about, beside that I've never heard anything about Greddy springs.

Hell, I scrape with stock springs, I can't imagine lowering at all.

Maybe if I live someplace flat.

You shouldn't have to worry about scraping your bottom on anything as long as you drive smart. Just be aware of driving up angles and bumps, like when approaching a driveway and things of that nature. Just take your time whenever it seems like you might bottom out.

I have 1" drop and I've never had a problem with bottoming out

yeah I bought a old 87 Turbo the other day, that they owner had 225/55-16's on it as well... why the hell would someone want a taller tire??? nearest I can tell the dumb kid that blew the motor though he was getting a wider tire.

They should be 225/50-16 or 205/55-16... 225/55-16 is the wrong size
