Antifreeze - Apex Seal fix...
some guy just called me to buy my car...i told him the motor was blown and i already sold it...BUT...he tried to tell me that i could pour some antifreeze in the spark plug holes....he said it fixes the apex seal, and i would gain compression...sounds like BS to me but idk...
anyone have info on this?

If the Apex seals are all busted, pouring coolant or any kind of **** won't fix that ****.
He must be talking about stuck apex seals.

why do you think mazda uses coolant on the sub-zero start?

it does help build compression but at the same time it prevents combustion since coolant kills the combustion factor of fuel which is the main reason why mazda took it out, it was an ill thought out experiment that they put in the car that does nothing but prevent the car from actually starting.
yes, antifreeze in the plug holes is BS, it will not help your car at all.

Its like the guy who poured a bag of sand in his VW while it was running in a sad attempt to polish the head. Where do all these stupid ideas come from... http://tremek.com/forum/showthread.php?t=19255
ROFL, thats a moronic story... but funny nonetheless.
actually, some racers used to use eggshells(Bon Ami light scouring material) in the carburetor to rescore the bore after hard runs since they would tend to glaze and lose compression. eggshells are a bit different than abrasive sandblasting media though, that **** would **** up any motor. the eggshells were only use on engines between races where the motor would be rebuilt following the race anyways.
edit: DO NOT PUT EGGSHELLS OR GLASS BEADS IN YOUR MOTOR! i just used this as an example vs the one posted for fun facts.
