88 n/a body 89 tii engine. n318 boost sensor and afm n333 ecu. no turbo pipeing connected yet. turns over fires like once or twice then stops fireing. o2 sensor isnt hooked up because the wire was hacked and i honestly cant find where its supposed to go. prolly gonna run a hard line from ecu to o2 today. will the o2 not being connected stop it from starting. nub question i know.

O2 unplugged wont stop it from starting. Is it a jdm motor? Fuel lines are reversed for JDM. Is it timed right? Stabbed the CAS? If it is a JDM motor did you compression test?

pulled from a usdm car had a chipped n374 in it but its not a jdm lim. nearly 100% that its not jdm engine. has good compression stored with MMO in housings, cas is hooked up, full emissions removal omp removal. guess i should pull what i think is the return and see if fuel comes out huh? if it is in fact the wrong way fuel wont come out right cause it wont flow that way?

Have you cleaned your injectors? Maybe your wiring is corroded? Just some thoughts until someone smarter comes along. Cleaning injectors never hurt

Tell me about this zip tie trick? Why does it work? What does it do? I am doing my swap currently and hope to have the engine in by next weekend and I'll need all the experience I can learn from others who have been there.
