Another "What's it worth" thread
So I'm thinking about selling my car, it's a 1987 S4 GXL 5spd. KBB says it's worth about $2000, but I have a ton of spare parts that I would include with it so I'm hoping it'll add to the cars value. Anyways here's some more info on the car:
Engine was rebuilt at 112000 miles currently a little over 123k. Oil changes ever 2000 miles.
The rebuild used new apex, corner and side seals from Atkins, I have all reciepts for the build btw.
New oil metering lines, new pulsation damper.
New transmission and differential fluid using Redline MT-90.
New NGK oe plugs, and Taylor 8mm wires, and a spare set of Ignitors (both leading and trailing included).
Brand new power steering rack, power steering system was flushed when the rack was replaced.
New fuel filter and pump.
It also has mazdacomp engine mounts, no name cone filter, oem filter box with 2 new filters (previous owner put one in before it was sold to me, then I bought one before realizing it was new), new Bosch oxygen sensor, Tein HR coil overs with pillow mounts and camber plates (also comes with working AAS suspension), Mazdatrix rear camber adjustment bar, Hawk HP+s brake pads installed along with Brembo blanks (and 4 napa rotors still within spec) on all 4 corners, and a set of oe pads, Knightsports toe eliminators (not installed yet), Mazda optional pedal set and original pedal covers (original covers are a little worn), Sparco Ring in suede and oe wheel in very nice condition, Momo hub, and Mazdaspeed horn button, spare n326 ecu, spare new radiator, and S5 side skirts. Also comes with 3 sets of wheels oe gxl wheels (no tires), vert BBS wheels shod in 205/60 r15 Yokohama es100 with only about less than 2000 miles, and r32 skyline wheels shod in Toyo Proxes FZ4 in 205/55 r16. I think that's about it, I'm sure I'm probably missing a few things here and there though. Oh there are a few downs on the car I guess, first it's NA (not that that's really bad I just figure most of the potential buyers would want a turbo model and just look over this car on that fact), the cold start assist was removed along with the cruise control, but that can easily put back in if need be, and there are a few door dings along the body but aren't too noticable, and there is a tear in the drivers seat. The paint is in pretty good shape. Anyways here are a few pics, let me know what would be a reasonable asking price for it. Oh and I know I'll never make up for the time spent on the car, I was just wondering if anyone out there would pay more for a well sorted one.

Dude..... Its NEVER worth what you have in it!!!!
I have 11,000 in Upgrades and rebuild in my car (no labor... just materials)
I'd be lucky to get 7.5 for it!
Sadly.. yours is an NA... Clean, but Common, the right kid come along and you could get 3 to 3.5K for it

Yea I know that already, heck I even said that in the initial post, sad part is I probably wouldn't sell it to a younger person anyways. It's too hard finding some one who wants the car for what it is and not some kid who wants to drift the crap out of it cause he's seen too many Initial D episodes, but now I'm just rambling and whining. Thanks for the input though.

I would take those rims and coil overs if you part it out, If you decide to sell it as a whole then I would say just put a for sale sign in the window and drive around waiting for the right price if you have the time to hold out.

If i had the money laying around id buy it for 3500 just because i like a tastfully done n/a. In fact this car would be perfect for me to use as a daily driver but funding keeps me short, that and your on the other side of the country from me Its not everyday you find a clean n/a tastfully done that hasnt been beaten to the ground. I have tremendous respect for all kinds of automotive things and respect those who drift however i think the phenomenon of drifting has put a ignorant idea into young chaps all over the place who want to get cars like this one and ruin them. Im not trying to stomp on anyones feet, i respect drifting guys. I just wish there were more n/a fc's like this one. If i ever have enough money then id be interested in it. I baby these cars and it would be in great hands. You can see how i keep mine in my sig None the less thats a great looking car and i admire what youve done to it. Thats exactly how i would want mine.

I wish I could man, the only reason I brought up the whole selling thing is I'm gonna be moving to So Cal soon, I actually have that and an 85 Mr2 that I kinda want to sell. Not that I really want to get rid of those cars, it's just that when it comes down to it, it's just more practical to have a Civic or a Corolla. Feels like I'll end up leaving those cars here and flying back eventually for them. It's tough selling something you worked on so long, it's like having to get rid of your pet dog, you kinda want it to go to a really responsible person, to me atleast. Anyways thanks for all the input guys.
