After almost 10 years after buying this car from Proto Motorsports and having it blow up because of some of the crap they did, I finally got my 90 turbo working again. I actually drove it out of the garage under it's own power yesterday. While it was down, I did basically a complete restore to stock. The only things I changed under the hood was removal of the Power steering (replaced with rack and pinion) A/C and removed and bypassed the ABS module stuff from the fender wall. I rebuilt and rewound all the harnesses, painted everything, had three boys born. I'll post some pictures later.
I got a car that was okay for the price and turned it into something great. Between rebuilding the engine twice (spun front house brng on first start up a couple years ago) to rebuilding the turbo with the help of G-POP, I discovered and learned a lot. Not all timing pulleys are the same from motor to motor, I discovered there were about three different ones and each one made a difference where the timing marks fell. I learned that one burned out resistor (3.9 ohm) in the ECU can make a world of difference. I learned that my wife, even when she says she's patient, really isn't. Thanks for all the advice and help to the folks on this that helped me out. Everything is back together and working with the exception of the wiper switch.
