i have an 87 t2 with only 50k miles on it. the car runs great and very quick compared to my old 88 n/a. but anyways my idle is a little rough. it bounces a little from normal idle to higher and lower. and also if i am in neutral and hold the gas down trying to hold it at a certain rpm it will bounce. wierd! but the car still picks up very quick and performs like it should, no hesitation or nothing. the car is mint except the rough idle.any ideas? i just replaced the air filter thinking it was clogged a little. that did need to be replaced. but its still didnt do the trick. although it seemed like it helped a little on the pick up.
