a noob here looking for some help.
I had to replace my water pump on my '87 turbo about a month ago cause that thing was leaking all over the place, but now the car wont start. the compression it fine, i have spark and i can smell gas after ive been trying to get the car to start. i have replaced the sparkplugs and the starter (after burning it out), ive checked all the fuses in the engine compartment. and im not really sure where to go from here. my only guess is that the timming is off. anything usefull anyone can tell me will help. thanks
