Lightbulb Another na going supercharged.. (pics if i can get a host)

I got a Toyota SC14 supercharger. No it's not the smaller mr-2 turbo. This is from a I6 2.0L. So far i have fabbed 1 mount to mount it. It fits tight, but well. I have 4 or 5 pics but don't have a way to host them. there 2Mb per .jpg.. (I can make them smaller if needed) Good quality though, you can see every scratch that i put on the inner wheel well..

Also, before i get bashed for using this setup. I'm not looking for a drag car, nor max performance. I want to start out small because this is all a learning experiance.

Things that i'm considering to complete this upgrade.

Aeromotive A1000-6 Injected Bypass regulator (with boost compensation)

Inline psi guage.

Already have a fuel computer.

AEM Wideband O2 guage kit

walboro internal or aeromotive external pump (for external pump i will fab a send-in unit)

and a TurboXS BOV...

Then i will feel it out. If it goes even the slightest bit lean. in goes Greddy Rebic IV aux. injector controller or if i find that won't do what i need (before buying it) then I will consider a haltec .

Please leave input

You wont feel it going lean until it detonates since your now under boost.

You may also end up not making a huge ammount of boost at/near redline.
That supercharger is only just efficient on the 2ltr engine it came off.. Our engines ingest alot more air per rev than the old 1g-gze engines did, I'd bet.

So, just be careful, do some maths with the pullies and at first make sure you don't push the blower much far past what the stock max RPM for it is on the 1g-gze engines.
Just remember the faster you spin it the less time it lasts.

I can host them, but shrink them down. Try to get them to 200-400k.

You'd be better off finding a charger for a 2.6-3.0 and adjusting the pulley for the ammount of boost you desire. I have a feeling you're going to be overspinnin that charger.

Almost done mounting it.

I need to fabricate a few more plates. I need to fabricate the tensioner pully. Need to get a V-belt pully for the supercharger.

Sweet. I'm saving for my own SC parts to do this conversion. You're not going to run that thing in blow through mode, are you? Or is it a centrifugal compressor and not a roots?

it's roots and yes forcing air into the throttle body. (for now) With a Bypass Valve.

"Thou shalt not run a roots in blow through mode"

-prevailing wisdom on supercharger conversions. Notice how all factory equipped roots blowers have the throttle body before the charger inlet? There is a reason for that.
