another muffler question... sort of
i've seen everyone talking about which muffler sounds like what... but what about just straight piping instead of mufflers? will that be very loud? i might have to put back the stock mufflers too if it is. btw, i have an 87 TII and will have the stock cats on... and i think the piping is about 2" diameter

With the cat's it may not be to bad. I don't have a turbo, but I know that cats really dappen the noise!!
Try to run it off your cats and bolt off the mufflers, not much difference with 2 feet of extra pipe
Some nice resonators may make a difference though
