Arrow another fuel pump another problem

Ok so my 7 has been sitting about a month without a fuel pump. I bought a used one off a 7club member and just installed it. I hooked everything up and tried to start her. First try nothing, second try i tried the unflood procedure them primed her and it ran for like 3-4seconds and shut off. I tried again with primer, it ran for 2 seconds and let off a backfire like a sawed off shotty, near deafened me and shut off. The forward most line on right drivers side of the engine is spitting a steady stream of fuel, yet no rpms unless i spray the starter fluid. What could be wrong? this car is seriously killing my spirits. It hasnt run for more than 3-4 days at a time since i owned her.

Oh yea, this may be completely unrelated but the low coolant sensor in the top of the radiator broke off so the low coolant warning light is constantly on now. Dunno if thats helpful but if not how can i stop the buzzer once/if my car gets running again.

Ground out (touch it to metal) the wire that went to the coolant sensor. It will make the buzzer shut off. That doesnt have anything to do with the starting problem though.

I'm a little confused here.
Are you saying you have a fuel leak?
Or were you testing for fuel pressure while cranking?

Some things to check - the connectors for the CAS & the AFM.

No fuel leak, i disconnected the forward most fuel line in the engine bay to make sure fuel was getting to the motor, it is. So the fuel pump is pumping and the starter is starting but the rpms wont move at all unless i spray some starter fluid.

Ill try the connectors mentioned tonight when i get a chance. Thanks for the suggestion but I think is something else given the behavior.
