another boost question !

we already have determined that a boost controller will not lower boost ..........but will it help to avoid spikes ....at this time im running about 10 -12 psi ,but sometimes my boost will spike ......i just want to resolve the spike problems without putting a plate in my exhaust !!!!
ive got a 90 turbo
thanks

No, it won't suppress boost spiking.
The whole cause of a boost spike is due to too small a wastegate.&nbsp You'll need to port the stock wastegate or slap on an aftermarket one on.

Are you getting boost spike or boost creep?

Hehehe, the boost controller is usually the cause of boost spikes. Boost creep, on the other hand, is usually caused by an inadequately sized wastegate.
