Another Blown Headlight Switch...

I just picked up an uber clean '90 Vert and the headlight switch & harness fried so the parking lights are not working. Anyone know if you can make a normal S5 switch & harness work or am I stuck trying to track down one for a '90-'91 Vert w/ Airbags. I dont really want to spend $600 for a non-sense part like this. Any help is appreciated.

Thanks,
Anthony

I think I figured out the answer. It looks like the switchs are the same, only the harnesses are different.

Headlight switches are the same for all years, with the exception of minor internal differences (S5 headlight switches have larger parking light traces, but a lower amperage headlight relay). But regardless all headlight switches wire the same.

However the Turn signal switches and headlight switch harnesses are series and model specific and can not be interchanged.
