alright i bout an 88 the other day with a blown motor. so i was checking to see what all was good on the car itself, bought a new battery put it in turned the key started playing with stuff then all of the sudden this really loud beep comes on and is continous and won't go off until i turn the car off then back on but then it will come right back on after about 30 seconds or so what could this be i have no idea thanks for your help

 

is any check lights coming on in the place above your dash in the center mine came on today and started beeping then i turned the car off and turned it back on and after 30 secs it came on again so i looked and it said low coolant write back

 

all of my check engine lights came on, and yes my radiator was low on water that could be it.
