88 vert na . yep it finally happened to me too. the add coolent light came on and i'm sure you know the rest of the story, checked for all possible points of escape. none found. so i kept adding coolent , then it started running out the overflow after i shut it off. not the thermostat either. nor the water pump. my guess is the water seal in the chamber has let go. i don't know if this may have caused the problem,but about 4k ago i did the carb cleaner thing. it did help the preformance some what but not worth it if it caused this problem. anyone had or has this prob or a quick fix other than a rebuild or new engine? thanks ex...

Just so i don't do the same thing, what carb cleaner thing are you talking about?
