Annoying squeaking in reverse

Hi,
My 87 GXL N/A...
I am getting an annoying squeak after letting the clutch out in reverse (does it a little bit when starting off in 1st as well then quits). It is really loud, starts out slow and gets faster as speed goes up. (clutch in and squeak stops). It sounds like it's in rear of car. Could it be the drive-shaft and u-joint? I replaced a broken half-shaft/u-joint with a good condition used one in 98. Or could this be tranny/clutch related? Arghhhh!

Any info would be appreciated!!
Thanks!

This is only happening while the car is moving right? Not when the clutch is moving in or out?

I might be looking at the brakes first, particularly the rears.

clutch out in reverse

Mark,
It only happens after you let the clutch out in reverse....and the car starts rolling backwards...faster you go faster the squeak is. The brakes are relatively new. When you push the clutch back in or put car in neutral it quits. No load...no squeak.

Gotta love it.
