everyone else has mentioned performance, so I won't. but do what you want. if you only care about looks in this case, then go for it.
If you like the streached look, keep a stock 205. Seriously, who else runs 205s on a 7 inch wheel stock. I think if anything, Mazda did that as a cost savings thing. Most normal 225s look correct and non streached either way on stock wheels. Going bigger than 225 straches though.

Do you have pics of your set up?

I've been contemplating getting the Konig Imagines for a year now. I will be going with 17,7's up front and the 18,8.5's in the rear with 215/45/17 and 245/35/18. This combination would be great. Plus I'll have the proper stagger effect.
