Arrow am i on "limp" or fail safe mode? s5t2 modded

ok car is a 89 t2. mods:
fmic
j-spec engine with n374? ecu its weird never seen n374 sticker is faded a bit so i can be wrong
safc
820 cc secs low imp with resistors
no emmisions
zietronix wideband
serpentine belt drive kit (under drive)

recently i licked the wall at an event, no serious damage just dinged up and scratched on the passenger side

car wouldn't start after impact

got spark.

no leaks.

no fuel. the pump went weak.

done!

now the car cranked up first try after the new pump. new problem. seems to me the car is running on fail safe mode or limp mode for some of you.

car is burning massive fuel

idles on 1 k where i set it

rev's smooth

no bogging while rev's (at neutral)

but engine sounds like its knocking inside.

with the clutch pedal in it eases from the knocking noise but still there.

when having to move the car out of a parking spot for example at low rpm it bogs

drove the car and runs normal but didnt go past 4k and bogged as soon as it saw boost (have fcd)

at idle boost is reading great compression as always.

spark plugs are not fouled.

ecu wiring and resistors all ok.

all plugs on injectors and sensors are in except o2 (but thats always been) and a seconday water temp sensor with a round black plug .

so short things out its knocking from to much or lack of fuel and when the safc is unplugged the car still runs!!!

so im thinking it might be the mass air flow meter gone bad and the ecu falls in fail safe mode raising fuel causing the enging to idle rough......??

I didn't read everything carefully but surely the ECU has thrown a CEL. Its very easy to check:
