Interior removal should only be used for race applications. The fact that the aluminum engine is an option is great for people who have the money.
the AL hood is really light, CF hoods aren't usually any lighter.

the weight is related to what you're willing to live without, like my friends car, its missing AC, and its 2750lbs...

Oh pshaw, a carbon hatch with Lexan would be a much greater weight loss than an alloy hood>carbon fiber.
"Best" weight loss I should think would come in the wheel/tire area.

The outline of the port is there but its isn't fully cut thru if that makes senses, theres still some aluminum that needs to be cut thru to join with the tunnel. You can ask RB to finish the port for you but many like to port their own way so...

So are the injector provisions similar to the ports, the outline is there, it just needs to be cut?

Are there any carbon fiber rear hatches made? Carbon fiber fenders and skirts would be nice to.

If you're going to paint them, you may as well just get fiberglass. substantially cheaper.

SPI Home
They have fiberglass hatches, doors, fenders, etc. They're in NZ, so they quoted me 2k on the doors and hatch shipped to the USA. That's really not too bad. I've not found anyone else doing the hatches. I may actually buy a couple of them from them.
