Aluminum f/w swap from 88TII to 89NA

Aluminum f/w swap from 88TII to 89NA

i have an 89 NA that i want to swap my 88TII drive line to. the 88TII has a 12lbs aluminum f/w in it. how do i go about doing this as far as the f/w counterweight. i will be staying with the series 5 NA engine (stock) in the 89NA.

can i just use the series 5 NA counterwieght?

*both cars are 5 speed (manual)

So you want the 88T2 flywheel on the 89 NA engine? Won't work. The front counterweight is a different weight between the 88 and 89. Find an 89 auto tranny counterweight and use that.
