altnator bolt?

altnator bolt?

is there any other way 2 get the bolt off the altnator besides an impact wrench cuz i don't have 1

Be nice, Hailers...

For the big bolt, put a 17mm end wrench on the back nut to keep it from spinning (it WILL wipe out your water thermo switch depending on how far out the harness standoff is sticking), and use a 14mm 3/8" drive socket and ratchet (or breaker bar) at the bolt head. The other little bolt is a 12mm, IIRC...

Alternator mounting hardware should not be TOO tight, or it will seize the rotating assy inside...
