alright guys, talk to me

hey guy, iam the proud new owner of a 2nd gen rx-7 and am a little bit eerie as to where to start... its a turboes JDM 13B and to be completely honest i like the idea and uniqueness behind the rotory but know little about them. i guess wut im asking is for starters does neone know where i can do some serious research on the 13B? and does ne one have ne seggestions as to where i should start making more horsies out of it besides more boost (already done that)....

P.S. i dont like nitrous so dont bother seggesting it...

what do you mean by "besides more boost (already done that)"...... is the car modified already? if so, what mods are on it..... we can help you better if we know your starting point

if its stock....... first, get an exhaust, intake, fuel cut defensor (or rtek 1. whatever) front mount intercooler, boost controller, 720 secondary injectors, and maybe an apexi safc-2 or some sort of piggyback......that should put you around 250hp w/ stock motor when properly tuned

welcome and aslo what do you like more strait lines or turns. first do what vipers said and if you like turns start working on suspension and if you like strait lines then start working on the engine

Why are you gonna rebuild it? Is it running good? Unless you have the money for a rebuild, I wouldn't open it up because you might as well rebuild the whole thing. Anyways, get a full exhaust with a 3" downpipe, intake filter and TID MOD, walbro fuel pump, fcd and fuel controller, and boost controller. The will be enough to buy for now unless you rich. then you can get a fmic, then upgrade turbo with bigger secondaries. and around sometime get a bigger and better alluminum radiator. For me, I am swapping a low mileage jdm engine into my new fc, and i bought all the items that are in my sig.

true enough eh... good point if shes runing good y crack her open.... all right well ill take ur advice and wait for a real reason to open her up before i change the stock internals..... one more question i also hurd that the stock engine mounts were a problem on the 2nd gen FC's... im not going even think bout replacing them unless i absolutly have to pull the motor but i was wonder if it was really an issue... any idea?

Engine mounts get baked and brittle with age. Replacing them is easy. Just unbolt the mounts, lift the engine slightly with a jack on the transmission, slide out the old mounts, slide in new, tighten bolts to spec.
