almost finished

okay well after my engine died earlier ths year , I went and bought a shiny new s5 ported engine , I just finished installing it , but there are a few lines and electrical connections that I'm not to sure where they go , I guess my memory is shot , cause it was only 3 weeks ago that I pulled it

- first is the white electrical connector on the tranny/starter harness (I think its a 2 prong connection) it sits somewhere in the middle of the tranny..

- the other one is on the same harness.. its a red or yellow single wire with a little black clip , it splits from the rest of the harness about where the oil sensor does , and I could have swore it went to the sensor on the block just above the fuel line runs into the engine from the filter.. but when I went to put it on I noticed that there was already a wire hooked to it...?

any ways any help at all would be apreciated !! and sorry , I'd post pics , but I cant find my camera cable..sigh

Sounds like the reverse light connector on the tranny. The other one for oil pressure, but does not connect anywhere. I recently traced that one myself and the line coming from the oil pressure sender actually splits and just leaves a connector.

the white transmission connector is for the neutral switch. The reverse and 5th gear switch is a 4-wire (and 4 seperate plug) ordeal situated farther back around the shifter (on TII anyway).

The other plug could be a few things. if its yellow/red, then it could either be a plug for the oil pressure sensor (bronze-bell-shaped looking thing below the oil filter) or for the AC compressor. Then theres a coolant temp sensor just forward of the oil pressure sensor (thats used by the temp gauge, not the ecu. yellow/white IIRC) and a oil temp switch down in the oil pan (for the cold-start antifreeze injection thingy system).
