I was just wondering what if we didn't mess with the emissions system on our cars, therefore the 5th and 6th ports open at the right time and the VDI will use the correct set of runners for the load. Most of us choose to take the Air Pump and acv off the car, but other that the 1-3 hp the belt on the air pump takes up what other adavatages to doing this are there?? My Final qestion is if you had your emissions on your car and had the exact same setup if you didn't have the emission, would it be faster??? I would think the hp would stay almost the same but the car would run more efficiantly???? what do you think?

I agree, as long as I can keep it running smooth & fast. If an expensive part fails, then I might work around it. Here is how it works: FAST - CHEAP - RELIABLE .. (pick two).
