OK, I hate to start another V-8 thread again, but I had one quick question. How much did you spend on the complete conversion, I mean everything, totally done and drivable. I know the kit at Granny's Speed Shop will run me about $1500. I would like to get about a 350-400HP 350 crate motor, a 6-speed tranny, and I know I will need a T2 rear end. Then comes clutch, so Im really not sure about the prices on all of these things. Could anyone help me out?? Could I do what I want for around $3k?? And also, are your cars reliable daily drivers, or just weekend track toys??? I would like mine to be a daily driver, soo..... Thanks to anyone who helps me out, no flames please, Im just askin some questions.
