If it's garage kept and parked away from shopping cart returns it wont be so bad. However if you cant keep it in a garage i highly reccomend a car cover or else you'll be cleaning it non-stop to keep it looking good. When it is clean it looks great though!

I love my black car. My g/f lives on a dirt road so it would be hard to keep it clean anyways. She usually is pretty dirty but when she is cleaned... MMMMMMmmmmmm... Sex on wheels...

The scratches are a pain in the *** too.

Its a pain to keep mine clean. I have to wash it 2 times a week. If i go and park it on the school parking lot after about an hour it has a coat of dust on it from the trees and stuff. Its hard to keep streak free too. Its also HOT as heck during the summer. But man does it look sexy when the sun is just right and you walk up to it and see a perfect mirror image of yourself. You have to squint in the sun when you look at mine. Other than the look i can honestly say i dont like black. This is my second black car and i dont like how hot they get in the texas sun. Im actually looking forward to fall now and thats a first.

black is awesome when it's clean.......but as stated above, it's a biznatch to keep clean, and shows EVERYTHING.....little scratches, and any little defects.

But when clean, it's just like lookin' in a black mirror...dead sexy.

I never worried about it...there was always something superbly gratifying about washing 2 weeks of dust off a car and getting that "new paint-job" feeling.

I have worked at a Lexus dealership for about 3 years now and about 90% of the brand new cars that I have to buff scratches, etc... out of are black cars. I used to say I will never own a black car, but I'm in the process of buying a black T2. Oh well.

I agree with everybody else, they look good cleaned, but are a bitch to keep them that way.

Clean my car looks fantastic. But if you get in on a hot sunny day and the car has been sitting in the sun with the top up... WOW. Like walking into a furnace. Seriously when I open the door I can see the heat escaping from the car. I love black cars though. I dunno why, they are just so sexy when clean.

Get some good polish under that dirt and she will clean up real nice too. In fact it rains alot here....so when the car is nice n dirty, and there is polish under it all, the rain cleans off the car pretty good

I've owned a black FC, Integra, and an MX-6 (the current '7 is flat black, doesn't really count.) None of them were half as hard to keep "clean" looking as my white Stealth.

White paint sucks!
