All Motor Drag Car?
Let's just say you had unlimited funds and a hell of a lot of time. Could you build an all motor FC and compete with the civics? I read on the IDRC site that the min. weight for a rx-7 was #1650.(thats freakin light!) So with slicks and the best port and motor build-up you could buy, what do you guys think?

I think so, I remember reading an article in SCC about All Motor Honda Engines at the max only making 260 at the wheels. Thats with major stroker kits and sky high CR's. I think a well tuned PPort could easily surpass the honda motors. Imagine what a 20B PPort could do...

There is a guy who runs a periphial port 20b in an FB and competes in the all motor class and spanks some Honda ***. It was discussed here not to long ago.

Ya i saw that thread too. I can t remember the name. But ya he did pretty good, i think there was a pic of his car in honda tuner or turbo mag. one or the other this month. Just a pic and then along side it said it was NA, i think. But ya I have a pp12a that i just built and when i get it to run right i am expected 250-260 out of it, but i did a budget build up. If you go 13b which yields about 10 more hp and go with a bigger carb you can make a sloid 300. With more i think you could make up to any where around 300 to 350 max. So ya you could be right in there and for not much$$. But you have to remember that the p ports pwr band starts high around 5k rpm or so and that makes for some hard launches. The p port is much more suitable for road racing and where you can keep it up in the pwr band all the time and use it to pull you out of the corners.
