Yep, you nailed it Ted... He hasn't even done the basic 60K tune up and made sure the car is even running lik it should and he is already taking about mods and ripping apart the motor.

Sad to see, in 6 months this will be one of those sad sorts that will be selling the car with a blown or near blown engine, complaining that he could never get it to run right and that rotaries suck.

please go back to your civic (get a newer one tho that year looks like a square trash can on four wheels). I really dont want to see another t2 rx7 getting parted out because:

1. cant afford to rebuild the motor
2. Hit a curb/house/tree/mountain/etc... and cant afford to fix it.
(cant use "i use to drive civic and it turns differently"as excuse because its common sense that it will)
3. because you cant afford to keep it because you keep on breaking things by getting stupid parts like a Bee R rev limiter (the one that shoots flames)

I dont hate on honda a lot of them are faster then my GTUs... very very sad to say. BUT!!! most of the guys that smoke me by carS lengths on the straights are always an average of 10mins behind me on the mountains

TII swap would kelp you keep them at bay on the straights as well... A clean *** GTUs such as yours would be very nice with some boost...

How the hell did this get pointed in a direction of him needing to get rid of the car and go back to honda? The guy needs to do a complete tuneup, THEN start worrying about upgrades. That's it. Everyone on here should be telling him to do all of that, and to hold off the mods until he's got it running right.

Now, i realize most of this was stated on the first page, but it bears repeating. He doesn't need to hear "sell your car and buy a honda..".. He just needs pointed in the right direction.

you are correct. As was stated earlier, though, you really shouldn't have any lag at all with a stock turbo, stock exhaust, and a well running car. As long as you are in boost, you should have nearly instant power availble.
