damn, looks like your not gettin hits..... Umm, make sure the rear speakers are not powered by an awp. Hook your fronts up to an amp

personally i dont have front speakers and it sounds just fine.

Buy a small amp from canadian tire or whereever maybe a 100 watt or 75 2 channel (50-100) bucks? and connect the front speakers to your amp....

problem solved louder stereo

90db/1w is a measurement of sound pressure taken 1 meter away from the cone, at 1 watt. It's done with some sort of steady tone. Anyway, that 1db difference won't make any difference.

In my opinion, the FC does most definitely need rear speakers, because the fronts are mounted down on the kickpanel like most cars.

I know this may sound insulting, but please don't take it that way: Are you sure you've got the wires right in the front (pos & neg). I know when I did my car the colour coding on the wires were the opposite of what made sense. Seriously look into it.

Any way you can get a splitter and send the rear and front pre out signal to the sub? That way it won't be affected by the fader.

Hope this helps.

DC350. When did they get a Canadian Tire in Phoenix, Arizona anyway?

If you aplly the same amount of watts, and use the same freq on both speakers (front and rear), the rears will allways be louder because there is more surface area vs the front ones.

The easiest option in order to achieve what you want, is to get a amp for your front speakers, and a cross over. If possible, mount two 5 1/4 or 6 1/2 speakers on your doors (and get rid of your 4 inches on the dash).

Here is an easy\simple combination for you.....

Get a 4 channel amp (make sure that the amp is stable at 2 ohms in stereo). Connect both speaker (front and rear) in stereo to channel one and two (in parallel); and bridge channel 3 and 4 for a SINGLE 4 ohm sub woofer.

Hope this help!
