nope, some of them had a backseat (2+2) but it's almost impossible to fit people there.

Almost all. One of the models, GXL???, had the option of 2+2 seating. Where the back seats fold up and down. I think that option was also avalable on the 10th AE turbo also. NEway, So no, not all are 2 seaters. But definately most.

The GXL was not a turbo. As I understand it, you can just rip the storage bins out of your TII and put the 2+2 seats right in, it may not be a direct bolt in, but I'm sure you could cannabalize a 2+2 for everything you'd need. Bottom line, 2+2 seats will fit in a TII.

The GXL is n/a....just the highest model of non-turbo FC. The "luxury" model if you will.

The 2+2 seats can be installed in any FC if you really want them. They won't be going in mine, but hey.

The 86-87 base and luxury
the 88 SE
the 89-90 GTU
and the 86-90 GXL

had the option of a rear 2+2 seat from the factory.

But any FC can easily be converted to a 4 seater, with the rear seat sets that show up on Ebay every other week.

You can fit ONE of those 95 pound, 4'11" asian girls back there. I know that for a fact! Hee hee, I wonder if anyone has ever tried putting 2+2 seats in an FD. That would be too funny. Like a clown car at the circus or something...
