Samps,

just a quick question. you mentioned that the box isn't secured onto anything but the duct/filter itself... won't the box rattle and bang around a lot on a bumpy road?

It is formed to match the fenderwall preaty tightly so it can't move down or towards the outside of the car. And since the MAF is securely bolted down, the actual air filter is enough to hold it. It has about a half inch of movement, which is not enough to make contact with anything. The box bouncing around a little is not gonna hurt anything. As long as it keeps the fresh air in and the hot air out, then it has done its' job.

Airbox redesign after TID
