airbag light

I got my stock steering wheel off and put on my new one, but how do I get the airbag light to stop blinking! Its more annoying than when the "add coolant" light comes on.

Take out the lightbulb. If you don't have an airbag anymore then the light isn't used for anything else.

Check the code the light is throwing. My guess is that it is the wire going to the wheel is not connected. Did you replace it with the airbag wheel or another wheel? If you used the airbag wheel it didn't get connected right which is why it is flashing. If you used a different wheel, you can connect the two wires going to the wheel. if you solder the two wires in the collum together the computer will think that the wheel is still the correct one.
