What do I need? Turbo rebuild

I have a 87' Turbo II with about 115,000 on it.

What do I need to rebuild the turbo?
I don't have the money for a new one. Is it best to buy a used one?

Search for "Atkins Rotary"

They have rebuild kits for the various years/models.

To my knowledge they come with all the seals, gaskets, and springs you need. although you may have a problem with the front cover gasket that comes in the kit if you have an s4 as its an s5 gasket. if thats the case you can order the s4 gasket from them.

I don't know much about turbos...but i do know that that search button up there can be your best friend. Just search rebuild turbo S4 or S5 which ever you have. Good luck!

First check out the cost to have it rebuilt by a local turbo specialist, and how much they want just for a rebuild kit. Then read this turbo rebuild how-to:

https://www.rx7club.com/attachment.p...chmentid=76207

Then you can decide whether you want to do it yourself or have someone else do it.
