Air through turbine?

ok so i pressurized my intake with one of these http://www.boostpro.net/prodtester.html and i didn't have te exhaust on. I noticed that there was air coming through the rubine blades. Is this a bad seal? the compression is 80, and its been sitting a while. I don't think this is a normal thing. i hope i am wrong...

those really don't work too good on rotaries. Think about the design, and note that the intake and exhaust aren't completely separated, since the rotor is dished. A little bit of leakage is normal for a cold motor. Check the compression specs for a turbo. I think 80 is about right. Otherwise, the only real way to find out what's going on inside is disassembly.

thank you... I figured that it was due to the seals being cold, but just wanted to check. I wasn't using it for internal diagnostic purposes, it was to help me find vac leaks, which i did find a couple of.
