Air conditioner and a microtech

My mechanic in Manassas Virginia told me that the Microtech can not run my air conditioner. Is this true? I will be moving to Texas, so my AC is not an option, but a must. Thanks.

You can set up the microtech to bump the idle up when the a/c cycles on. Is that what you meant by "running the a/c"?

I fired him but not until after he built me a bad motor, wrecked my car and took $6k from me. He wired a switch that supposedly went directly to the compressor (checked the other end of the wire, and it wasn't connected to anything) as he said the microtech could not turn the compressor on or off.
