Arrow Air pump removal question

I just installed a new water pump yesterday and am putting new belts on today to finish her up.

I also decided that I want to take out my ACV and air pump while I have stuff disassembled. I only need to order a few block off plates.

-So my question is can I go ahead and leave the air pump off while the ACV remains in tact until I order my block off plates? Will that cause any problems?

Its an S4 NA.

Thanks

I did pick up a yoohoo (3L220) belt I can throw on today. I just need to know if I can ditch the air pump and at a later date ditch the ACV when I have block off plates to install.

Yes you can.

Any caltalytic converters that might still be in place will shortly die a slow death. Say a month of driving. Just a guess.

Cant you just cut out your own block off plates out off some sheet metal? That would be cheaper, and faster. I also plan on removing my air pump, cause I have no cat!

Well done is done. I'm running ACV without the airpump.

The ACV and EGR are next.

I must say, the yoohoo belt is pretty sweet. I'm glad I didn't spend $50 on a dual alt pulley.

Anyone know of any cheap block plates? I know pineapple & Mtrix have em.
