Alright so i just installed a cone filter on my car, and wanted to know what to do with the air pump hose that goes into the stock air box? I mean, did it just blow fresh-ish air into the stock box or something?

Edit again: its a 87 gxl....

 

actually it sucks air in from the box,.If you put a cone filter in and leave the air pump, you need a small filter to keep crap from getting sucked into the air pump. I rigged up a breather filter on mine. You kind of have to get inventive with it

 

Or just get rid of the air pump all together.

 

alright i need a small filter thanks! ill see about hooking up the one on my mini chopper haha....
