Air pump question...

Does the airpump do anything else at all besides supply air to the cats? So with no cats there is no reason to have an airpump correct? Thanks.

take it off, take it ALL off! ...uh...yeah, just take the damn thing off, but i'd suggest putting a little 2" breather filter on the tube, i dunno what that thing does but if it sucks air in you want it filtered fer sher. mine's off and toda es bueno

It supplies air to the exhaust ports for pollutant control, and it provides air for anti-afterburn suppression. But neither of these functions are of interest I assume.
